Concord City Hall is getting a facelift to save its unique brick structure.

Propoint Restoration, along with Milestone Engineering & Construction are repointing the masonry joints of the brick façade to preserve and protect the distinctive brickwork of the building. The city’s Public Properties Division is overseeing preventative maintenance brickwork on the north side of City Hall and the City Auditorium. Work is weather dependent, but is anticipated to continue over the next seven weeks.

The west side of the building was successfully repointed in the fall of 2021. During this project, parking access on Prince Street may be limited, according to the city website.
