Some GOP members of the NH Legislature have come up with a new way to improve elementary education. Cursive handwriting is now going to be a mandatory subject. Way to go Republicans, seems that you know just what will help students succeed in the 21st century.
But why quit with just cursive? You could really advance NH education by mandating rotary telephone dialing, fountain pen filling, carbon paper copying and you would provide our kids with a grand old reason for being deficient in subjects like reading and science.
