The Center for the Arts will hold the 12th annual Arts in the Harbor July 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This showcase of fine arts and crafts will be held in Sunapee Harbor “under the tents” regardless of weather conditions.
Arts in the Harbor will feature a lineup of 20 talented artists displaying and selling their works. Visitors can expect to find a diverse range of art forms, including silver jewelry, stained glass, pysanky eggs, beaded jewelry, wooden bowls, oil, watercolor, and acrylic paintings, colored pencil and photography. Among the participating artists are Robin Asbury Designs, Deborah Bacon, Mary Belecz, Katelyn Elizabeth Jewelry, Debbie Campbell, Kathleen Curwen, Sherie Dowsett, Tina Gagnon, James Lambert, Luci Lesmerises, Susan Parmenter, On the Cusp Pottery, Harvie Porter, Carole Sanetti, Grace Scarlet, Juliana Twomey, Bella Beads, Shannon Wallis Designs, and Tatiana Yanovskaya-Sink.
This event presents an opportunity to enjoy the arts on a summer morning or afternoon. Attendees will have the chance to engage with the artists personally, gain insights into their artistic process, and learn about the inspiration behind their creations.
The public is invited to this show and also encouraged to explore additional artwork up the hill at The Livery. Coinciding with Arts in the Harbor is the opening of the “Naturally New England” Arts Show, featuring the works of 88 artists. The opening reception will be held from 5-7 that evening. And to extend the artistic festivities, the Center for the Arts will be hosting a new event this year, Ladies Night “Paradise Party,” on July 20 7-9 p.m. at The Livery. This fun event offers another chance to appreciate the artwork in a lively summer setting, complete with steel drums, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, raffles and prizes.
