It is the right of every representative in the NH State House to express his views in social media formats. But am I asking too much that opinions not be denigrating, disrespectful, misogynistic, racist? On August 10, House Majority Leader Rep. Jason Osborne posted an image where the title “Preview of Democrats’ financial literacy curriculum,” with an image of a Black woman dancer and the byline “Don’t worry about the money.”
I am always interested in substantive discussions about improving curriculum. And I am always going to stand up to racism. Please watch your rhetoric, Mr. Osborne. You are a leader. There is a better way to promote your educational ideology and encourage dialogue.
