Support for National Popular Vote is stronger now more than ever, especially in a bipartisan fashion. As we become aware of the defects of the current winner-takes-all system, it is important to note that some votes count more than others and that some states donโt get the recognition they deserve. The National Popular Vote would remedy this by ensuring that every vote counts equally in every presidential race. This would mean candidates have to engage with everybody, addressing the unique concerns and issues that matter most to our community.
Moreover, National Popular Vote promotes the principle of fairness and reinforces the idea that every citizenโs vote is of equal importance, regardless of where they reside. Embracing National Popular Vote doesnโt mean we lose our swing state status; it ensures we remain crucial in national conversation. Letโs show our commitment to a more inclusive and equitable country by supporting the National Popular Vote.
