With the budget process wrapped up, I am pleased to highlight the successes that Governor Ayotte, the House, and the Senate delivered for all of New Hampshire.

After a lengthy process, we reached a deal that makes our schools even better, protects services for our most vulnerable, and ensures we remain the safest state in the nation. This budget delivers for our students, investing more money in education than ever before, ensuring that all students can be successful. It bans cell phones in schools โ€œbell to bell,โ€ ensuring students focus, get the most out of their time in the classroom, and develop socially. It also supports the popular Education Freedom Account program, ensuring students can receive an education tailored to their individual needs. It strengthens our community collegesโ€™ workforce development programs, providing more pathways for students to continue their education and begin a fulfilling career.

It guarantees that there is no wait list for disability services and funds critical services at our community mental health centers, including resources for new mothers. This budget also protects NH Medicaid and ensures this essential program is available for those who need it. Finally, this budget delivers for our first responders and ensures we remain the safest state in the nation. It also funds programs supporting people struggling with addiction.

This budget supports all citizens of New Hampshire.
