You can do better
Your political leanings are well known, but the political cartoon on page A7 of July 8 crossed into mean, heartless, crude, and downright nasty. They are still searching for bodies, and somebody who picks out cartoons to print thought it was funny? Witty? or whatever to select one that depicts a person wearing a maga hat being swept downstream? Is there really that much hatred at the Monitor? Someone had to pitch this to the editor. I would have liked to have been a fly on the wall for that conversation. Come on, you folks can do better than that can’t you?
