Grandpa Trump
Grandpa Trump and his friends are trying to take us back to the “good ol” days when America was great. Well, that’s what he thinks. Good old days for him were being driven to a private school in a limo from his father’s luxury apartment. He wasn’t walking the streets, riding subways or buses. He wasn’t worried about where his next meal would come from, where he was going to sleep, whether he would have medical coverage or whether he’d have money for car repairs. You know, things the “average” American thinks about.
Go back to the good old days when mothers wouldn’t let their children outside for fear they would catch polio. When pollution was so bad that the Chicago River caught fire. When you couldn’t swim in Lake Erie and the air was so bad in our major cities you could smell the fowled air. We’ve worked hard to clean up the mess and to provide safe working conditions. We’ve spent years of medical research to provide us with drugs that have extended our lives. I, for one, want us to continue to lead the world in scientific breakthroughs. We were once the envy of the world but now because Grandpa Trump and his handlers are tearing our systems apart, we are quickly falling behind. We need to replace every one of the unqualified department heads leading to this disaster with competent, qualified people with our best interests as their focus.
