Stephen Jeffery Dyment

Round Rock, TX – Stephen Jeffrey Dyment Jr. passed away unexpectedly
at his home in Round Rock, Texas on Aug 4, 2025 at the age of 52.
Stephen was born in Concord, NH on Aug 26, 1972. Steve grew up in NH
and loved the lakes and mountains.

Steve was part of a military family. At the age of 6 with his mother
and stepfather, he left NH and lived in Alabama, Georgia and Germany.
Europe gave Steve different experiences with cultures, languages and
food. He loved all types of food and was up for trying anything. One
of the highlights of Steve’s time in Europe was participating in the
boy scout jamboree at the Munich Olympic Stadium with boy scouts from
every European country. During Steve’s time in Europe, the family was
blessed with the birth of Steve’s sister Shannon. Although there was
an 11-year difference, Steve loved having a baby sister.

In Steve’s teen years, the family was stationed in Savannah, Georgia
where he attended Benedictine Military Academy. Steve made many close
friends in Savannah. After four eventful years the family received
orders sending the family back to Germany. As Steve was 18 he opted to
stay stateside with family in NH.

Steve made a fateful decision to take a trip to Texas with a friend.
During his stay he met Mandy Friedrich. The couple fell in love and
married in 1998. After 16 years they were blessed with two sons. Ian
Joseph in 2014 and Connor Wayne in 2015.

Steve served in the New Hampshire National Guard and in the Texas
National Guard. He was quite patriotic and was proud of the long
tradition of family serving our nation. His Grandfather, father and
stepfather all served full careers.

Steve was a commercial electrician for more than 20 years in the
Austin, Texas area. His hobbies included going to concerts with his
wife. He loved all kinds of music. He shared his passion for music
with both of his sons.

Steve was a husband, a father, a son, a brother and a loyal friend who
will be missed by everyone whom he met along his life’s journey. He
leaves behind his loving wife Mandy, his sons Ian and Connor, his
mother and stepfather Peter and Debra Newell, his sister Shannon
Newell, his brother Tyler Dyment and his wife Shelby and his father
Stephen Dyment, Sr. as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and
friends.

A memorial celebration will be held on September 28 from 2pm to 5pm at
the Common Man in Concord, NH. In lieu of flowers please donate to
your favorite charity.
