Brenda Joyce (Zinn) Joziatis
Canterbury, NH – Brenda J. Joziatis passed on at the Hospice House at
Concord Hospital on January 2, 2025 from AML.
Born on August 16, 1940 to Marjorie and Erwin Zinn.
She grew up in the Pittsfield area and graduated from UNH with a
Master in English degree.
Brenda married William D. Joziatis and has a son Bruce Talbot.
She worked as an editor for N.H. Profiles magazine. Was a
writer-editor of NH-Maine Sea Grant college program. Also, a public
information officer for the School for Lifelong Learning.
Brenda was a rabid reader and loved traveling New England collecting
antiques and many other things! She loved the smell of lilacs in the
morning.
Brenda was predeceased by her parents and her husband Bill.
She is survived by her son Bruce of Dalton N.H., a granddaughter
Juliette of Massachusetts siblings Richard Zinn, Ralph Zinn and Linda
Zinn all of Concord N.H. George Gray of Pittsfield N.H. and Pete Zinn
of Boscawen N.H. Many nephews and nieces.
A remembrance service will be held on September 14 at 2PM at the
Canterbury United Community Church with a burial service at 4PM at
McCleary cemetery in Epsom.
