New Hampshire can’t go alone on health care. We are a small, rural state with one hospital that does research and can offer insights into public health. Joining the Northeast Health Care Alliance is about accessing the best health information for all of us, young, vulnerable and aging. It’s not about politics.
Many of us who have witnessed or experienced a personal healthcare crisis have “thanked our lucky stars” for our ready access to Boston hospitals. The wealth of knowledge and experience in the Boston medical community is unmatched and what we cherish in New Hampshire. Why would you suggest that listening to professionals from some of the best institutions in the country is political? You could take the position that facts and depth of knowledge are the basis for all healthcare decisions in New Hampshire and that we welcome the expertise of our neighbors instead of casting it as a political maneuver.
