Questions for Republicans

James Mayotte’s letter contained a few questions for Democrats.

Here are mine for Republicans.

Are you proud to back a convicted felon? A con man man who cheated students and contractors? A husband who cheats? A bully who mocks the disabled? A man who gushes over dictators?

Are you fine with him trying to steal the 2020 election? With a mob he unleashed on January 6? With his promise to pardon rioters who desecrated our Capitol?

Are you blind to his constant lies? His tariffs that raise your prices? His betrayal of Ukraine, while Russia bombs civilians? His promise to end wars “in one day” — a lie as reckless as it was absurd?

And what about his appointments? RFK Jr. at HHS — a man known for conspiracy theories, not competence. Or Pete Hegseth who calls himself “secretary of war” and claims women shouldn’t vote.

In moments of national tragedies, do you prefer a leader who seeks to divide rather than unite? Are these really the leaders you trust with America’s future?

And yes, I would vote for any one of the those named Democrats. Every one of them is a far better leader and human being than DJT will ever be.
