Riddle Me This…

Charles Kirk, a Christian, stated on the “Charlie Kirk Show” that he “can’t stand the word empathy, actually. I think empathy is a made-up, new age term that does a lot of damage.” So how are people supposed to react when the victim, his family and followers don’t believe in empathy? Not pray for the family? Not fly flags at half-staff?

This “new age term” may have stemmed from the Bible, from the Gospel of Matthew 25:35-36. “I was hungry and you fed me: I was thirsty and you gave me drink: I was a stranger and you took me in: I was naked and you clothed me: I was sick and you visited me: I was in prison and you came unto me.”
