Florida, where they enjoyed their later years in the warmth and
sunshine.
A gifted seamstress, Pearl lovingly made clothing for her children and
family. In retirement, she discovered a passion for quilting-creating
over 200 quilts, which she gifted to her children, grandchildren,
great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Pearl was an extraordinary baker, known for her blond brownies, banana
bread, and whoopie pies. She gave most of her baked goods away, using
her talents was a way to express love. Her home was always open,
welcoming, and filled with the comforting aroma of something delicious
in the oven.
Above all, family was the cornerstone of Pearl’s life. She was
endlessly proud of her children, grandchildren, and
great-grandchildren.
