Thanks to Goodlander for speaking out
I was pleased to see in her recent update that our congressperson is speaking out about and trying to limit the horrible impact of ICE actions under this administration. As she said, “One of the main concerns I’ve heard from people across New Hampshire — including from law enforcement officials — is the fear and distrust that masked individuals are sowing in our communities. That’s why I co-sponsored the No Secret Police Act, H.R. 4176, legislation requiring law enforcement officers and agents of the DHS to display identification and insignia when detaining or arresting individuals and to prohibit them from wearing face coverings or any item that conceals their face during detentions or arrests.” To the extent that she has influence with our local law enforcement community, she should ask that they limit their cooperation with the rogue and often illegal actions of the immigration policies and requests from federal agencies. They are making our country less safe and less prosperous as they pursue a xenophobic, racist agenda.
