Thought Police

The American diaspora — ever evolving but not, it would seem, for the better — appears to be at a crossroad. Technology has fast-forwarded our communication, much of which was never intended to be “out there.” My thoughts used to be my own. Today our thoughts for some reason are accumulating ever more in to a new diaspora for which mankind likely never intended. Our great migration of thought is now in a cloud service and our fearless leaders are reading them. Are our thoughts protected from intruders? Will artificial intelligence then interpret our thoughts? Am I safe to have a thought at all? I hear the thought police at my door.
