Judith A. Call

Boscawen, NH – Judith “Judy” Ann (Drescher) Call, 85, of Boscawen,
passed away at Concord Hospital, surrounded by her family on September
7, 2025.

Judy was born on March 8, 1940, in Concord, NH to the late Albert and
Ruth Drescher. A 1958 graduate of Concord High School, Judy enjoyed
working for Concord Savings Bank and later, for Sprague Electric Co.,
before her health-related retirement.

Judy met her best friend and devoted husband, Dana, and they married
on May 2, 1959, and together raised their two daughters, Deborah and
Suzanne, in Concord.

Judy had a smile and gentle spirit to share with everyone. She
embraced simplicity in all aspects of her life, creating some of her
happiest moments birdwatching, traveling with Dana, trips to Bailey
Island in ME with family, the beach, and time spent with family and
friends. Judy loved the Lord and was a member of Immanual Community
Church and served on the Ladies Guild until she moved to Merrimack
County Nursing Home.

She will be missed by many, including daughters Deborah Day (Steve),
Suzanne Plante (Robert), grandchildren, including Joshua Plante
(Karleigh), great granddaughter Cairo Plante, sister Jayne Schoch and
brother Donald Drescher. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces,
nephews and friends that were touched by her kind and generous spirit.

She is predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Dana W. Call, her
parents, Albert O. and Ruth E. Drescher, sister-in-law Susan Drescher,
brother Richard Drescher and brother-in-law Richard Schoch.
