A woman was rescued from the Merrimack River in Concord early Thursday morning.
At around 2:15 a.m., the Concord Fire Department received a call about a person in the water requiring rescue. The woman was reported to be near a boat dock by the Everett Arena.
Fire Chief John Chisholm said by the time the fire department’s crew arrived at the scene, officers with the Concord Police Department had already pulled the woman out of the river.
She was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment.
