Gregory Vrakatitsis
Epsom, NH –
Gregory Nicholas Vrakatitsis passed away at the Dartmouth Hitchcock
Medical Center in Lebanon, NH on September 18, 2025 after a courageous
battle with FSH muscular dystrophy. He was born May 6, 1952 in Keene,
NH, the son of Nicholas Vrakatitsis and Doris (Pasno) Wills. He
graduated from Monadnock High School and the New Hampshire Technical
Institute. He also attended Keene State College.
Greg worked in the computer consulting and marketing field, serving as
vice president of Keene, Inc for over 20 years. He most recently was a
senior account executive at Aquinas Consulting. Those that worked with
Greg saw him as a mentor, and he forged lasting relationships with his
colleagues.
Greg was a devoted husband, father and friend. Giving back to the
community was important to him. He served on the town of Epsom School
Board and Budget Committee for many years and was instrumental in the
building of the elementary school addition.
Anyone who knew Greg knew he was proud of his Greek heritage. He was a
die hard Red Sox fan, and we all knew not to call him when they were
on. Greg loved music from the 1960s and would tell stories of concerts
he attended, including Woodstock and seeing Bob Dylan several times.
Greg enjoyed boating on Lake Winnipesaukee, fishing, and spending time
with friends playing cards and golfing. He loved keeping up with
current events and discussing the news. More than anything, Greg loved
spending time with his family.
Greg is predeceased by his parents, his step-father Irwin Wills, his
brother Doug Sauer, his sister-in-law Linda Ferris, and in-laws Ernest
and Kay Wiggin. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Janice
Vrakatitsis, his daughter Kerry Vrakatitsis and her husband Tom
Kaneko, his son Michael Vrakatitsis and his wife Aimee. He was a proud
grandpa to granddaughters Avery Kaneko and Sarah Vrakatitsis. He also
leaves behind his sister Anna Wagenseil and her partner Luis Blanes,
sister-in-law Joan Sauer and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Greg’s life will be held on 10/26/25 at 11AM at
Pembroke Pines Country Club in Pembroke, NH. All are welcome to attend
and celebrate Greg’s life. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a
charity of your choice in Greg’s memory.
