Champlin for Mayor
In more than 40 years raising a family in Concord, I’ve watched our city transform from a “city in a coma” to one of the most popular places to live in the country. Kids I coached in Rec League basketball now are raising their own kids here, and I have the privilege of watching my grandsons attend Concord schools.
As Mayor, I’ve heard your challenges and aspirations. Whether it’s my monthly Coffee with the Mayor, my Mayor’s Business Visitations, a grassroots 2050 Vision community discussion, at council meetings, on the street or even at your door. We may not always agree, but I’m always willing to listen.
Having listened to your encouragement, and considering the critical work still ahead, I have decided to seek a second term as Mayor.
To keep Concord moving forward, my priorities remain to grow our economy to create jobs and minimize the tax burden, lead on affordable workforce housing, keep Concord safe with emergency services and community policing, assure our city is a place where ambition and imagination drive success and all are welcomed and valued.
Concord is in my heart. I ask for your vote on Nov. 4.
