That’s right, it’s time we vote

When we read the headlines, we look at the attribution that’s given to President Trump for the myriad of decisions, proclamations, executive orders and actions taken by his administration. What we should be looking at is that Trump is not the person behind everything. Sure, there are his administrative folks who act on his behalf to make things happen for him. For those, we have no control over them to stop or change the actions taking place. Additionally, we have those current national, state and municipal politicians, who serve and enable the president and his policies. Governors, congressmen, mayors, selectmen and even school board members.

What’s clear to me is that we should not be blaming Trump and his decision-making because of the headlines in the newspapers he grabs. What we should be doing is placing our blame squarely with our Republican politicians in New Hampshire and Washington who are not getting the job done. They are not working for the people. They are working for the administration. And the greatest distinction that we can make is that our politicians work at the pleasure of the people.

We have the ability to make a change. Those changes come through the voting booth. Let’s vote this November. Let’s vote again in the midterm elections in November 2026. Let’s vote in the presidential election in 2028. We can make a change. Vote out authoritarian enablers. Vote out authoritarians. Bring in a new majority. Let’s expose the paper tiger that Trump really is. We, the people, must prevail.
