Their website still shows pictures of their signature dishes served on retro metal trays, but Vibes Gourmet Burgers in downtown Concord appears cooked.
The restaurant that specialized in hand-crafted burgers made from grass-fed beef shut its doors not long ago and now the storefront is shrouded in butcher paper from the inside.

What exactly took the bite out of their business is somewhat unclear.
Our friends at InTown Concord didn’t know, nor did the former owner, Jeannette Zaza, who sold it two years ago. The owner of the building, Laurie Sanborn, didnโt return a request for comment, and Vibesโ latest owner couldnโt be located.
While it was open, Vibes built a bit of following through its location right outside Red River Theatres and its commitment to local ingredients, including brioche buns baked a few doors down at Bread and Chocolate bakery.
“We are committed to providing the ultimate burger experience for our guests and to doing our part to strengthen the greater Concord community,” their website stated.
