Concord, NH – Dennis R. Soucy, 74, of Concord, passed away peacefully at home on October 9, 2025, following a long illness.
Born May 24, 1951, in Manchester, he was the son of Anne (Steckowyck) Soucy and George Soucy. Dennis graduated from Memorial High School, Class of 1969, and proudly served in the U.S. Army.
He worked for more than 40 years as a truck driver for HP Hood Company, traveling throughout the Northeast. He was a member of the American Legion in both Concord and Manchester and active in the New Hampshire Republican Party.
An avid outdoorsman, Dennis enjoyed camping and fishing. A lifelong music lover, he cherished the songs of the 1960s and fondly recalled attending Woodstock. He especially loved The Beatles, The Byrds, and Neil Sedaka’s “Carol.”
Dennis will be remembered for his sharp wit, good humor, and devotion to family. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Carol (Stebbins) Soucy; sons Daniel, Andrew, and Matthew; brother Ronald; sister Linda Provost; grandsons Keyden, Rio, and Mack; and extended family.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 5โ7 p.m. at Bennett Funeral Home, Concord. A funeral Mass will be held Thursday, October 23, at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Concord, followed by burial at 1 p.m. at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
