Louisville, KY – Linda Brumleve Sullivan Leahy, age 77, died Oct. 11, 2025, in Louisville, KY, where she was born and raised. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy, the University of Kentucky, and UK Law School. Linda practiced law for nearly 50 years in KY, SC, and NH, including as a partner with her husband as Leahy & Leahy PLLC. She is survived by her devoted husband Peter ("Scoop") Leahy; sister, Nancy (Mark) Hill; brother, Gary (Gail) Brumleve; children, Daniel (Jenny) Sullivan and Margaret Sullivan; stepchildren Heather Gatnarek (Josh Jennings) and Sean Leahy (Audra Winn); beloved grandchildren Russell and Hudson Sullivan; Esme and Cyrus Leahy. A memorial mass will be held Nov. 7, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Epiphany Catholic Church in Louisville, with a celebration of life immediately following. In memory of Linda, the family asks you to make a donation to an animal shelter in your area.
