I’m voting for Mayor Champlin
I am pleased that Byron Champlin is running again for Concord mayor. I have known Byron for almost 20 years in a variety of workplace settings. He is a natural leader, open to diverse ideas. He knows this city well after ten years on the City Council. In the past two years as mayor, he has shown leadership and commitment to the city and all its residents. Rare in government these days, Byron is an excellent listener. He hears residents’ concerns and shares his ideas through his email updates, “From the Mayor’s Desk,” and “Coffee with the Mayor” sessions at local cafes. In addition to strong leadership, Byron cares about this city and works to make it welcoming to all. We need to give him a second term to continue his work on key issues, like housing, the tax base and making Concord a city for all its residents. He has my vote and I hope he has yours as well.
