Alexander Dubois for Concord School Board
I’ve known Alexander Dubois since high school. Alex was a smart student with a gentle soul, a good sense of humor and more maturity than your typical high school student. He knew what he wanted to be in life from an early age — an educator. Alex followed his dreams and became a special education teacher right out of college.
Alex has a long history of standing up for those who don’t have the means to stand up for themselves. An acquaintance throughout my high school years, Alex didn’t think twice to assist me In 2015, when he helped a struggling college student get started anew at the local McDonald’s he was working at. Helping me with my resume and interviewing skills, Alex played an instrumental part in helping me land a job that supported me through my college years.
Alex will make a great member of the Concord school board because he carefully listens to all perspectives, unwaveringly supports those who need the most help and truly understands retaining high quality educators and academic resources is of utmost importance to this city and the state’s future.
For all the reasons stated above and plenty more that can’t fit in 250 words, I believe Alexander Dubois is an extraordinary candidate for Concord Board of Education, Ward C and I implore the people of Concord will give him a chance to prove it on Nov. 4.
