Municipal elections can easily be overlooked, yet they often have the greatest impact on our daily lives. I ask you to support Byron Champlin, Amanda Grady Sexton and Fred Keach for Mayor and City Councilor At-Large.
They are volunteers who are willing to serve in these highly polarized times. We need their selflessness and steady leadership through the challenging days ahead. I believe they are sensitive to stresses on taxpayers and ensuring the city has the resources to stay safe and provide economic opportunity for all.
I also want to thank all those currently serving. Your work is often unenviable, but your commitment to stay and serve is deeply appreciated, even when we don’t always agree. We need that mindset to face the problems coming our way.
