No kings and no cowards

New Hampshire’s two sitting U.S. senators may well believe they have done the right thing in voting to re-open the government. Yet what is all too familiar is they have both capitulated, as they have done time and again to the much more disciplined body of conservatism that stares them down from across the aisle. In these times of fear and foreboding, of loss of hope, and dread of what is to come next, our senators have spoken. I know of no stronger message conveying disrespect to the people of New Hampshire and the United States. Our time today is no longer for the people to choose the lesser of political insensibility and fainthearted decision making, rather, we must define this moment for political change!
