Reconvene Congress in Philadelphia
Since President Trump has effectively dissolved the U.S. House of Representatives, I have suggested to my representative, Maggie Goodlander, that she invite and encourage her counterparts from across our nation to reconvene at Independence Hall in Philadelphia. In the early days of our county, Congress was forced to move from city to city. Perhaps the symbolism of choosing this location again will appeal to the newscasters and provide a podium for those in Congress who are eager to exercise the powers the constitution intended, to broadcast the vision of a better government focused on the welfare of all citizens. Maggie pointed out to me that she and Marjorie Taylor Greene share the same initials. It is also possible that they share a few common goals, such as getting back to work and making the Epstein files public.
