In the town of Loudon

In the town of Loudon, all three of our Representatives got either an A- or B+ from the New Hampshire Liberty Alliance — a political group that promotes libertarian bills — for their votes.

Libertarians don’t want regulations, which means that they are willing to vote for bills that take away local control over water and electricity use, like HB 639, which would forbid towns from creating restrictions such as noise limits or water limitations for Crypto/Bitcoin-mining.

New Hampshire has been in a drought for months with wells drying up. Crypto/Bitcoin can use enough water for cooling to fill a swimming pool — 18,000 to 20,000 gallons for each transaction — and they could be doing hundreds if not thousands of transactions every day. Be alert to who your representatives are supporting by checking their names.
