A building in downtown Concord housing three local businesses and three apartment units recently sold for $1.3 million.
10 North State St., a two-story building on the corner of Warren St. and North State St., was purchased from Moksha Investments LLC by 10 North State LLC. Adam Bassett of Concord formed the limited liability company in September of this year prior to buying the building in November.
The mixed-use building, which has about 8,000 square feet of space, was constructed in 1835. The businesses on its first floor are Penumbra, Witchlight Oracle and Palm Hair Lounge.
Alyssa McClary, who owns Penumbra with her wife, Alison Murphy, said that beyond having a new landlord, she does not anticipate the sale affecting their plant and gift shop at this time.
“We have a lease for two more years, and we know we’re good through that,” McClary said.
She said she does not feel concerned about the sale and believes the new landlord plans to honor all the leases in the building.
Bassett could not be reached for comment.
Cassandra Farley, a senior associate at Colliers, represented Moksha Investments LLC, while Greg Proulx of BHG The Masiello Group, represented 10 North State LLC.
