Let’s make a deal
Nick McNulty writes that Governor Ayotte should call for partisan redistricting in order to oust Maggie Goodlander and give New Hamsphire some Republican representation in D.C. He correctly points out that New Hampshire voted 47.8% for Trump in the past election. I’d like to remind him that due to Republican gerrymandering over the years, our New Hampshire State Senate favors the GOP 16-to-8 and the Executive Council 4-to-1. With over 50% of New Hampshire voting democrat, how is that fair? Perhaps it’s finally time to support equitable, transparent, non-partisan redistricting across the state. What do you say, Nick, deal?
