Hooksett, NH – Andrew (“Andy”) Dominic Scala passed away on December 22, 2025, at the age of 74. He was a resident of Hooksett, NH, and a long-time resident of Bow, NH.
Andy was born on June 19, 1951, in Red Bank, NJ. A 1976 graduate of the Yale University School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program, he worked at the University of Chicago Medical Center’s Burn Unit before moving to NH. After working at Concord Hospital’s Emergency Department, Andy joined Concord Orthopaedics in 1988, specializing in spine care and surgery for over 20 years.
Andy is survived by his wife, Maureen of Hooksett, NH; and daughter, Courtney Scala Smith, son-in-law, Dr. Zachary Smith, and granddaughter, Isabella of Durham, NC.
A visitation will be held at Bennett Funeral Home, located at 209 N. Main St., Concord, NH, 03301, on December 30, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A chapel service will follow at the same venue on December 31, 2025, at 10:00 am.
