Catherine E. Croak

Concord, NH – Jesus said come home faithful servant, job well done. Kay, 88, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026, following a short period of declining health.

Kay, daughter of Harold and Charlotte Bacon was born and raised in Illinois. She first met Richard when they were sophomores in high school. Their marriage of 67 years, which started in Il, relocated to NH in 1969, was a testament to infinite love and commitment to family and faith.

They raised six children. Kay was a devoted wife and a family-first mother whose life centered on caring for others. Her greatest joy was time spent with family and friends, theater and introducing the great outdoors to grandchildren.

Throughout her life, Kay was involved in her church and community. She worked as a bank employee, real estate agent, staff member of RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program). Her volunteer roles included church and school activities, Garden Club, Bridge Club, special education programs, and working out at the health club. Richard and Kay also enjoyed national and international travel.

Kay was predeceased by her parents, two sisters, and one brother. She is survived by her husband, Richard; her children, Cathleen Robinson, (Scott), Margaret Anderson, (Dean), Robert, Mary Elizabeth Jankauskas, (Paul Montray), Michael, and Matthew; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her sister, Trish Hatfield (Dave).

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Concord on January 8, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in East Concord.

Kay will be remembered for her deep faith, generous spirit, and unwavering devotion to her family and community.
