Franklin, NH – Mr. Edward J. Hogan of Franklin, NH passed away on January 9th at the age of 73. The son of Edward and Ella Hogan, he was raised in Tewksbury, MA, graduating from Tewksbury High School in 1970, and went on to attend Suffolk University. After a 30 plus year career in the automotive industry with Walker Mufflers, Tenneco Automotive, and ATP Automotive, Ed stepped away from the continuous travel, working at Stafford Oil company until retiring.
Residing in Franklin for 47 years, Ed was an avid sports fan, often volunteering at his children's games and practices growing up, and was heavily involved with the Franklin Booster club. He is predeceased by his wife Kathy of 37 years. Ed is survived by his daughter Jen Olejarz and her husband Aaron of Bedford NH; his son Jon Hogan and his wife Annemarie of Derry, NH; 4 grandchildren: Reed and Abrey Olejarz, Harper and Izzy Hogan; sister Elaine Hogan of Tewksbury, MA; brother and sister-in-law Kevin and Debbie Hogan of Chelmsford, MA; sister-in-law Amy Pigeon of Newburyport, MA; and 3 nieces.
Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, Jan. 20th from 4-6:00 pm at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin. Spring burial will be in Franklin Cemetery, in Franklin, NH.
