NH needs a Senator who stands up for our daughters

As a mother, my most important responsibility is to model integrity, courage, and advocacy for my children. That is why, on National Girls & Women in Sports Day, I am speaking out about Chris Pappas and his record on policies that directly affect women and girls.

Representative Pappas has repeatedly taken positions that undermine fairness and safety in women’s sports. During his time in the U.S. House of Representatives, he voted against the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act — legislation intended to preserve sex-based athletic competition and ensure a level playing field for female athletes.

Pappas has also twice sponsored Congress’s Equality Act, legislation that would extend these policies beyond athletics into women’s locker rooms, bathrooms, shelters and other sex-segregated spaces. Elevating him to the U.S. Senate would mean weaker representation for New Hampshire and more automatic votes aligned with the radical left, rather than independent leadership rooted in the values of our state.

While Representative Pappas advanced this agenda in Washington, New Hampshire leaders worked to restore balance at home. Governor Sununu signed a series of laws reaffirming our state’s commitment to fairness, safety and common sense.

New Hampshire deserves a U.S. Senator who stands up for our daughters. Today, I ask you to join me in holding Chris Pappas accountable — and this November, to join me in voting for a candidate who defends fairness and safety.
