Hopkinton, NH – Jeffrey Neil Colcord, 91 of Hopkinton, New Hampshire passed away peacefully at the VNA Hospice House in Concord, New Hampshire on February 25, 2026 after a long illness. He was born on June 3rd, 1934 in Winchester, Massachusetts to Clayton A. and Dorothea J. (Simons) Colcord.

He graduated from Port Chester (New York) High School in 1952. After high school he served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Guardian YAGR-1, later earning a degree from Northeastern University in 1963. From 1963 to 1999 he worked as a regional sales rep for the RIS Paper Company office based in Concord, New Hampshire. In retirement he worked part time as a rural route carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Contoocook, New Hampshire and also volunteered as a driver for the Friends Program based in Concord, New Hampshire for which he was recognized.

He was a ravenous sports fan who was known to stack as many as four television sets atop one another so that he would never missed a game. In his later years he became an avid golfer, always trying his hardest to keep up with his wife Nancy.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife Nancy L. (Ockert) Colcord. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kristen and Andrew Westhoven of Deerfield, New Hampshire, son and daughter-in-law Jonathan Colcord and Marianne Barter of Concord, New Hampshire, grandson and granddaughter-in-law Benjamin and Courtney Barter-Colcord and great grandson Leiton of Somers Point, New Jersey. He was predeceased by his brother Peter J. Colcord of Greenville, New Hampshire and by his sister Christina C. Haynes of Weed, California.

Interment will be at the New Hampshire State Veteran’s Cemetery in Boscawen, New Hampshire.
