Concord, NH – Anita L. Wernoch, age 94, of Concord, NH passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026 at Presidential Oaks.
She was born in Newark, NJ the daughter of the late John P. and Anita C. (Langione) Hannah.
Anita was married to the late Peter E. Wernoch who passed away in 1988.
She worked for many years as a legal secretary and retired three times working for Frank Spinella of Hall Morse, Anderson Law Firm in Concord. She enjoyed traveling to Italy and Aruba along with many other destinations. Anita worked hard and played hard and enjoyed many celebrations with family and friends. She devoted much of her time to the Concord Kawanis Club serving as past president and secretaries for many years.
In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by her brother, John “Peter” Hannah.
Survivors include her sons, Michael Wernoch of Hopkinton, NH and Anthony Wernoch of Concord, NH; her sister, Joan O’Connor of Naples, FL and sister, Win Saltmarsh of Bradenton, FL
Memorial Visiting Hours will be held on Monday, March 9th from 5 to 7 PM at the Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main Street, Concord.
