No quid pro quo
My experience as an attorney having appeared in front of now Associate Justice Daniel Will when he was a judge in Hillsborough County Superior Court leads me to conclude that his confirmation to the New Hampshire Supreme Court was fully warranted and was no quid pro quo.
What every litigant and attorney expects and deserves when appearing before a judge is that the judge is familiar with the facts of the case, has not pre-judged it, permits the parties to make their best case and treats the parties with respect.
Based upon experience, rather than perception or supposition, Justice Will checks all of those boxes.
In nominating Judge Will, Governor Ayotte made the right call.
