Stay tuned for Iran 3.0

On the evening of March 21, New York Times’ David Sanger is suggesting that #47 may be getting ready to scurry back to managing his ballroom with his tail between his legs, leaving damaged energy infrastructure, the Strait of Hormuz virtually impassible and the wounded Iranian theocracy more determined than ever to remain in power.

Having failed twice now to completely obliterate the Iranian nuclear program, he says he’ll keep a close eye on on its remains, which the Islamic Revolutionary Guard now has every motivation to drive forward to a nuclear bomb. What a convenient set-up for Trump to rekindle a future Persian Gulf war, say just before our November elections. For this reason, Congress must step up and reclaim its power to declare war, OR NOT, and to defund the current “excursion.”
