Bryant Peter Woods passed away on Dec. 20, 2025, of Parkinson’s disease. He was 58.

Bryant was born on Sept. 10, 1967, in Concord and lived his entire life in Concord and in the capital region. He graduated from Concord High School in 1986 and attended the New Hampshire Technical Institute, Concord’s community college. Bryant worked many jobs, including as an EMT with Pittsfield Fire & Rescue. He loved attending concerts, spending time at Hampton Beach and Lake Winnipesaukee, and visiting with family and friends.

After becoming sick, Bryant became active with the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research and attended the organization’s Unity Walk in New York City several times.

Bryant is survived by two children, Molly Woods and Connor Woods, both of North Carolina, as well as his mother, Carol (Schinella) Carlson, of Concord, his father, James Woods, and his wife, Donna, also of North Carolina. He is also mourned by four brothers, Timothy Woods and his wife, Carol, of Moultonborough; Matthew Woods and his wife, Susie, of Connecticut; Jon Woods and his wife, Lisa, of Weare; Zander Carlson of Warner; and a sister, Martha Christafro and her husband, Jason, of North Carolina. Bryant is also survived by a brother from another mother, Gregory Plourde, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins, too.

Bryant will be buried at Calvary Cemetery in Concord later this year and the family will hold a private celebration of life in early May.
