Penacook, NH – Mr. Leslie R. Coad, 83, of Penacook, passed away on April 18, 2026 at the Merrimack County Nursing Home after a period of declining health.
Born in Concord, Les was the son of the late Leslie and Ruth (Colby) Coad. He was a lifelong resident of Concord.
In earlier years, Les was employed by the Concord Fire Department and was proud to drive Tower 1. In later years, he worked as a truck driver for Ferns and later Irving.
Les enjoyed watching TV and movies, especially westerns. He greatly enjoyed motorcycles and cars as well as his animals, especially his dog.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Carol A. (Curtis) Coad, his son, Eric Coad and his sister, Nancy Krauz.
He is survived by his sister, Laurie Breton of Concord; his brother, George Coad of Concord as well as his nieces, grandnieces and grandnephews.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, April 24th at 12 P.M. in Blossom Hill Cemetery, 207 North State St. Concord. Please meet inside the main gate at 11:45 AM.
