Many want to lead, few deserve it

Granite-Staters are a fiercely independent and hardworking people. Nowadays, they are working twice as hard to put food on the table. Those fortunate enough to have homes are struggling to afford the taxes associated. Those who do not own homes are losing hope of ever affording one.

All the while we have leaders in positions of authority claiming affordability is a hoax. Rather than working to solve the problems of their constituents, they choose to blame others and work tirelessly for themselves.

Thatโ€™s why I enthusiastically support Maura Sullivan for Congressional District 1.

Maura isnโ€™t a legacy name from a powerful family. She wasnโ€™t cloistered in private schools away from the reality of society. Sheโ€™s a leader thatโ€™s achieved her reputation through the accomplishment of her deeds. Marine Corps insignia is earned, never given.

Maura achieved college by working hard to earn a ROTC Scholarship. She was forged into a leader that embodied the 14 leadership traits and 11 leadership principles.

None of which included selfishness, scapegoating, entitlement or nepotism. Iโ€™m rooting for a person that grew up learning that leadership is a responsibility to those they lead.

Itโ€™s an honor and privilege to be entrusted with authority. I prefer leaders that open doors for others not slam them shut. Maura is that kind of person. She is one of the few that has earned my trust. I encourage you to investigate Mauraโ€™s background, meet her and decide for yourself.
