Concord police released photos of graffiti near Speer’s Jewelry on North Main Street. Police are looking for the culprit.

Speer’s Fine Jewelry, a family business since 1950 in downtown Concord, is liquidating its inventory as part of a “retirement sale.”

The 50% off sale at the store on the corner of North Main and Depot streets began Tuesday and will last until the stock of rings, bracelets and other jewelry is all sold.

Joseph and Shelley Spierer own the store, which has involved three generations of the family. The owners said they have been too busy preparing for the sale to comment on their retirement but may continue the business online.
