Loudon, NH – Valerie Chandler Hanson of Loudon, NH, passed on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 69 years old. She was born and raised in Concord, NH.
Valerie graduated from Concord High in 1974, served 23 years in the Air Force, and over 20 years for the state of NH. Always up for adventure she loved hiking, downhill and water skiing, camping, and reading.
Valerie is survived by daughters Dierdria and Heather Hanson; her grandchildren; and partner, Michael Little. She was preceded by her parents Joseph and Lois Chandler, and her loving husband Eric Hanson.
Family and friends are invited to gather Thursday, May 14th, 1:00-1:45pm at Cremation Society of NH, 172 King Street in Boscawen. A Memorial Service will begin at 1:45 in the funeral home chapel, followed immediately by burial with military honors at New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway in Boscawen and reception at Alan’s of Boscawen.
