Vote against SB 439
I am encouraging all Granite Staters to contact their representatives in the State House to oppose Senate Bill 439. The bill, which just cleared the Municipal & County Government Committee, would prevent towns from enacting regulations for data centers. Data centers have made headlines recently, and no wonder. The amount of water and electricity they consume puts pressure on a community’s infrastructure, and people should remember the purpose of these facilities is typically to store their private internet data to sell to corporations. We don’t need our state government putting data centers ahead of people. To my fellow Granite Staters, please contact your state representative and tell them to vote against this bill when it comes to the house for a vote.
