Concord, NH – Juanita J. Martin, a resident of Concord, passed away on May 6, 2026, after a period of declining health.
She was born in Montpelier, Vermont, on September 13, 1948, to Waldo Ellis and Virginia (Clifton) Martin. Juanita pursued her education at Vermont College, where she completed her studies before embarking on her professional journey.
In 1969, Juanita began her career as a cytotechnologist in Buffalo, New York. Her dedication to her work and the medical community marked the beginning of a lifelong commitment to her profession. She was recognized by her peers for her meticulous work and dedication.
Juanita loved to travel and formed friendships easily. Family was her greatest priority. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and love.
Juanita was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Priscilla Chapter 51.
Juanita was predeceased by her father in 2004, her mother in 2014, and her brother-in-law Ray Twombly in 2021.
She is survived by her sister, Cynthia (Martin) Twombly; her sister and brother-in-law, Lisa (Martin) Lane and Andrew Lane; her niece, Melisa Madore (Matt); her nephew, Buzz Twombly (Nikki); and her niece, Heather Sargent. Juanita was cherished by her great-nieces: Abbi, Ashley, Emily, Hadleigh, Molly, and Brooke. Juanita is also survived by our special family friend, Joan Florence.
