Jocelyn Jamieson

Salisbury, NH – It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Mother, Jocelyn Jamieson. Born on October 9, 1935, in Lisbon, N.H. to Nathan and Beatrice McKown. Jocelyn passed away on May 22, 2026, in Salisbury, NH after 18 months in hospice at her home.

Born and raised in Lisbon, NH and graduating from Lisbon High School, she raised her family in Barnard, VT and Concord NH before settling in Salisbury for 50+ years.

She was a great cook. Known to her grandchildren as “soup Grammie”. Jocelyn loved crafting, quilting and gardening. She spent endless hours playing cards with her sister, Toosie, after retiring from the NH State Prison. She also enjoyed camping and tending her flower beds.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Malcom, Kenneth, Douglas and sister Nathalie (Toosie).

Jocelyn is survived by her children, Steve Jamieson of Salisbury, NH, Cindi Murphy and husband Bill from Northfield, NH, Dianna Jamieson and husband Joe Mendola of VT and Randy Jamieson and wife Lisa of Alexandria, NH. She also leaves many grandchildren, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at Phaneuf Funeral Home at 172 King Street in Boscawen, NH on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, from 5 to 7 p.m.
