Warner, NH – Linda Marie (Albertson) Mueller, age 78 of Warner, NH, passed away on May 22, 2026 after a slow decline in health and a final illness.
Linda was born on August 30, 1947, to William and Doris (Whelpley) Albertson in Brooklyn, NY. She received her Associates degree at Kingsborough Community College. She met her beloved Richard (“Dick”) James Mueller on a summer mission trip to St. Paul, Virginia, and they were married 2 years later in 1968.
After Dick enlisted in the Air Force In 1970 in Manhattan (getting ahead of the Draft), they lived (among many other appointments) in Texas, Kansas, Thailand, New York, Germany, California, Colorado, Florida, Washington D.C., and Virginia. In Colorado Springs, Linda started a successful career as a realtor with ‘Help-U-Sell’. During their time in Florida, Linda completed her Bachelor’s in Criminology, Summa Cum Laude, from St. Leo’s University. (When asked why criminology, she said, with a twinkle in her eye, that she had 5 children). They moved to Warner in 2001 after the birth of their first grandchild, and made New England their home for the remainder of their lives.
Linda was a faithful spouse to Dick and loved baking and making crafts and quilts for her children, grandchildren, and friends along the way. She was happiest when she was in the kitchen or at the sewing machine or writing a letter to a friend or child. An avid college football fan, she rooted for Notre Dame and the Airforce Academy and loved watching the Patriots as well. She served alongside Dick in various capacities in their church communities, leading Cursillos and Marriage Encounter talks with Dick, as well as giving Catechism, RCIA and CCD instruction with him on the military bases and in the local parishes where they served.
Linda was predeceased by both her parents and by her brothers, Ritchie and Billy Albertson. She is survived by her husband, Dick, and their five children: Kerrie Diers (Ted Diers), Richard (Ceridwen), Margaret (aka, Sr. Mary Amata, OP), Karl (Stephanie), and Andrew, and ten grandchildren: Nate, Ella, Leo, Marc, Caleb, Sonja, Gus, Toby, Linus, and Rosemary. She is also survived by her sister, Kathy Wimmer and her brother David Albertson.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Theresa’s Church in Henniker, NH, at 10 am on Thursday, June 4, 2026, preceded by a visitation at the Church at 9 am.
