Warner, NH – Judith G. (Hoyt) Courser, 82, of Schoodac Road, died Thursday, May 28, 2026 at Concord Hospital.
She was born in Concord, NH on June 25, 1943 the daughter of Everett and Alice (Thompson) Hoyt.
Judy graduated from Penacook High School in 1961 and moved to Warner in 1965. She worked as a bookkeeper for Concord National Bank for five years. From 1985-1998 she worked with the hot lunch program at Simonds Elementary School and then worked for Brayshaw’s Printing from 1998-2006. She taught swimming lessons in the summer for over 25 years.
She was a member of the Warner Historical Society and ran the bookloft for 15 years. Judy was instrumental in helping to form the Warner Farmers Market in the late 1970’s and liked to bake and would share her goodies with the Warner Food Pantry. She enjoyed knitting, swimming and kayaking. A devoted grandmother, she attended most all of the events in which her grandchildren participated. She liked to travel with her husband and was able to observe as he judged at many fairs and shows.
Members of her family surviving include her husband of 60 years, Gerald B. Courser; four children, Michael (Shari) Courser, Matthew (Michele) Courser, Marshall “Todd” (Melissa) Courser and Penny Sue Courser (Darrin Moody) all of Warner, NH; four grandchildren, Dalton, Lucas (Erika) and great granddaughter, Bailey, Cy and Madison; a brother, James Hoyt of Salisbury, NH and her best friend and sister, Ann Largy of Bow, NH. Judy is predeceased by her parents and brother, Everett Hoyt, Jr.
Friends may call at the Chadwick Funeral Home, 235 Main Street, New London, NH on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at The United Church of Warner.
